Montreal Reflections in his own words...
"The cultural cornerstone that
is Montreal has been amazing to witness. Fate has been kind enough to engage
me with some very interested parties in the process of launching my art,
music, book, and public speaking role here...Gallery Gora is
I think an important, and progressive institution that I have been fortunate
enough to hold my show in, where now I feel a gracious kinship. The opening
was fantastic, with many influential people, and we sold art prints and a
lot of autographed books as well... The art contained in the book, along
with many other pieces, are on show momentarily at Gallery Gora, a
retrospective collection of nearly 100 editioned prints of drawings, paintings,
illustrations, and digital art, personified uniquely to Gallery Gora,
and the city of Montreal... These illustrations are available for sale from
there long-term, as Gallery Gora will now be representing my art in North
America... Professor Cornett is the Head lecturer in politics, religion and
culture at McGill University, and cordially invited his students, without
knowing who I am, to study my art, music and writing... Afterwards, in pursuing
my long-standing public speaking role, he invited me to speak to his students,
along with guest anthropologists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and mental
health workers."
His
illustrations and his book "Recovered Not Cured: A Journey Through Schizophrenia" are
available at Gallery Gora.
