KATCH
(CANADA)Montrealer artist and designer, Katch counts over 30 years of creativity both on the national and international art scene. Always partial to a minimalist approach in his conceptual vision of art, his work unveils his subtlety in the use of graphics, a wry sense of humour along with a healthy dose of sarcasm.

ELGEROT
(SWEDEN)I paint with acrylic on canvas but also with mixed media. In my work, I often use sand collected from many different parts of the world. In paintings which I use sand, I let the sand from different parts of the world blend together, mixing its different textures. When I´m painting, I do not decide in advance what to paint or what colours to use. I just put paint on the canvas in many thin layers, allowing the work to gradually develop step by step. Sometimes the motifs on my paintings are abstract, sometimes they are different kinds of portraits. I am mainly an autodidact and have studied painting under the guidance of different artists. For me, art is not about reproducing, it is about making our inner beings visible. Life and art are one.
