FIEBIG
(CANADA)Fiebig was born in Berlin, Germany and has lived in Canada since 1997. His foundation in classical\renaissance art is very present in his current work. His priority however is not to search for the perfect human form in his paintings and drawings like renaissance artists did. The main goal here is to dispell certain myths and to emphasize the inner human condition of our present time.
piperberg
(CANADA)"Art is the product of a magical process by which an artist's unique vision makes the invisible visible. My artistic objective is to recreate the invisible past in a contemporary idiom. My themes include subjects from history, mythology, Biblical events and personalities, family lore, landscape and memory. A sage once said that we spend the first half of our lives figuring out how we are different from other people, and the second half figuring out what we have in common with others. Because of the sharing of meaning between the artist and the viewer, art is not only an expression of an artist's unique vision, but also of our common humanity."
